What to Expect

We’ll show you some of my favorite places, hidden courtyards, tunnel, cathedral (and its secrets). Plus, we’ll have a coffee break in one of my favorite places. You’ll visit the places that just locals go to. And, you’ll have the first-hand experience of local life. For example, you’ll have a chance to try one local specialty, if possible…

Ban Jelačić Square – We will meet „Under the tail“ – a historical meeting place that is really hard to miss. Today a main square of Zagreb, but in history something entirely different.
Tkalčićeva Street – A longest pedestrian street in Zagreb with lots of bars, shops and restaurants. Everything mentioned is above the ground. There is also something... below it.
Tunel Grič – Sometimes reffered to as „A secret tunnel“ by locals, this WW2 bomb shelter is now open for public to serve as a shortcut, but for us – a place full of stories.
Funicular – Smallest public cable car in the world! Take a ride and learn why and how it was built and where the money came from.
Upper Town – Heroes and Kings! Witches and Dragons! Legends and Mysteries! This is the place where the stories came from - the „Old Zagreb“. Some stories are funny, some are bloody, some cheerful, some mystical, but all are interesting!
Zagreb Cathedral – The first mention about Zagreb in history was the construction of the Cathedral. At first glance, only a place of religion and faith, but where is history, there are secrets...
