This special geological and hydrological phenomenon is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Definitely this 16 lakes, which gradually „fall“ into one another is one of the most stunning places in the world. After being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park has seen a boom in exposure and visitation.

Make sure your camera has extra battery or even extra memory. You can easily run out – taking hundreds of those “screensaver” kind of pictures… be prepared to spend a few pleasant hours walking through the magnificent greenery … in the fresh air …across the biggest Lake we will ride the electric boat and electric train on the way back … we will visit several small caves, we will see a very vivid flora and fauna.
Plitvice lakes are amazing place itself, but tour with our guide Max was unforgettable. We really like his enthusiasm and knowledge of the area.
